John...for the knock gauge it should have a label on it, and on the label there should be letters at each wire port ( A, B, C)
Take a lengh of wire, and run the wire for Letter A:
Letter A is the gauges Ground....so find a good ground, connect the wire to it, and then run it up to the gauge.
For Letter B it is the Power source for the gauge....Take your wire, and go thru the Grommit in the fire wall out to the Coil pack....at the coil pack look for a Pink Wire, with a black stripe...you need to splice your B wire to the pink and black strip wire....(soctch locks work ok, but if you know how to solder then solder it)
The last Wire that needs to be rain is the Gauges signal wire...C goes all the way over to your ECM where you are going to look for a wire that is yellow, and has a black stripe....you are going to splice into this wire for your sensor...after all is ran start the car up.
The Led in the middle of the guage will glow, and on start up the knock gauge may arc across all the colors. (The gauge lighting up due to false knock because it is the starter spinning the motor)
It looks like alot, but it really isnt.....
one last step is to have fun while doing!
HTH!
