How do you bounce off the rev limiter?

Confirm the chip is an alky chip. If it is then there is no limiter.

It's not. I know it's not because the alky chip is in my center console. The street 91 octane chip has been in the car for the last like 6 or 7 weeks now.

Well that changes the equation. A regular chip will have a rev limit which will cut fuel. I think the limit is something like 6200 rpm.

That's pretty high. I would guess most valvetrains would be floating before that.

I have a roller cam also set up by lonnie diers. Do you guys think it could handle 6375?
What anyone thinks doesn't mean anything. Either it will or it won't. Posting cam lobe number and spring number and installed height would give enough to make a good call on what to expect.

I'm not sure Lonnie would remember the spring pressure. But going off of his expertise, I assume it's as proper as can be, for full throttle's comp cams 206/210 roller. What do you think? What would you estimate it as?

I guess it doesn't matter, as I'm going to go thru the upper end this winter anyhow. I'm going to check valve lash so, I mind as well pull the springs and have them measured by Richard Clark. Or you lol.

thats a screen shot of a rev limiter fuel cutoff in action ...whoda thunk

I'm thinking the trans is slipping. I was just here posting to see if it could have been anything else, as I don't really want to ship the trans... Ah well.

I'd be asking the question why the RPM jumped 2000 RPM 2 seconds after it shifted into 3.

Yep... :( I know. You know what this means. Ah well. I was going to do converter and trans mounts anyhow. Mind as well send her out for a looksee.
