how do you send a pm on this new set-up

I cannot figure how to send a PM , need some help please, thanks.

Upper RH corner of your page, where it says "Inbox". Click on that and "Start a new conversation". That's what they're called now. Good luck getting someone to figure out how to answer, I've sent several w/o acknowledgement...

Click on the members avitar, (sounds dirty doesn't it.) and you can see where it says "start a conversation". Most guys don't seem to figure out how to do it but maybe you'll get lucky.

why does everything need to be a freakin "conversation" these days?
if you want to send a message, then it should be called a message..
if you want to start a conversation, then send a message to get a phone number so you can have a conversation..
why don't web software designers understand this?
