I recently went to the strip and the car didn't run the number I thought it should.
I took the car back home and did a fuel pressure test and I had 1 to 1. At the end of two runs my check engine light came on and I had low voltage to the MAF.
The car idled up and down constantly but went down the road fine. I rapped on the MAF and the car died.
I ordered a new LT1 MAF which I don't have yet.
My question is what effect does a faulty MAF have on WOT performance of the car if any. Before I went to the strip the car ran fine, if I stabbed it the car responded.
At the strip the car launched fine so I didn't have any side effects like I have now with a faulty MAF.
Just wonder what if any performance difference I'll have between my stock (faulty) 3" A/C Delco MAF to the LT1 MAF I'll be installing?
