How does the wire come off temp sensor?

Tyring to get the wire off the temp sensor. It seems to be some kind of locking plastic connector. How does this come off? I have squeezed, pulled, etc.

Lift up on the little tab and pull it off. Do it easy cause the plastic is brittle after all these years.
