I am running a untouched stock block with 50 k original miles, have owned the car for 14 years and put almost all the miles on it. I have progressed thru the years with the normal mods.
I am now running champion heads, GT35/61 turbo, 50 lb inj, headers, stretch IC, ported intake, on an on.....
I understand the turbo I have will make 670 hp. Injectors are maxed at supporting 600.
My question would be at what boost am I pushing the capabilities of the block? I am running a 22 degree chip and have a translator that I just installed. Have now messed with them timming, just left it at no change. I run 100 octane all the time.
I have ran up to 24 pounds of boost with no knock.
I would like to run as strong as possible while staying in the safe zone for my block.
I am just not sure where that is, I have dialed the boost to about 21 and left it their, 24 pounds is alot more fun.. But want to be safe.
