I had the GN up to about 5k in 4th. I have no idea how fast that is but at the boost i was running I ran 118 at 5k in 3rd. It has 90/10's and 50/50's with no front sway bar so saying the fron end floated is an understatement. It took me forever to slow it down off 85. I swear it took me a mile to get under 85. **** power master brakes.

My GTP went 128 and my GTX went 125. Theey have more in them but I don't like to top end run especially after the GN scared me to death. It also did the G body death shake at 120...no fun at all. Back and forth so hard I thought I'd puke

Don't know how fast I got going because the speedo only went to 120, but I didn't get BELOW 120 for the better part of hour on Rte 81 headed to Roanoke VA. Ummm, I was in my 69 Buick LeSabre. My GN couldn't possibly do that. That car was all balls on the highway.

I had my 00 Mustang GT up to 150, one of my friends didn't believe me, but wouldn't ride with me to find out, so a few nights later I did it again and took a picture of the speedometer at 150 with my girl friend in the car...lol... I was into bikes till I wrecked, but I've done 185 on 2 wheels... As you can tell I was a genius when I was younger, I had 22 points on my license at one time... Hehehehe

Ever since I got the T-Type I haven't gone over 85...lol...

I pushed a C5 vette to 167 once with my brother in the car. Saw a few cars I was approaching and lifted. Looking back it was a really dumb thing to do. The car had more in it, but no sense in pushing my luck.

Lemme see i went 128-130 in a shelby 89 dodge daytona on i 275 one night then i went 135 in a 74 firebird 350 holding a car legnth on an 01 or so cobra mustang and then i went approx 135 in my gn on the lodge fwy in detroit racing a marauder who sadly crawled away from me..I got my speed numbers from the guy in the marauder but i was glad to find out the guy had like $2000 worth or work done to the marauder and my gn is damn near stock..i dont think my car has a chip in it but then i wouldnt have gone 135????? ;0
also i went 14.22 at milan wheel hopping on bald 10 year old street tires so i wasnt doin to bad considering he spent 2gs!!!!!

Once racing my bro's SL600 and the last time with my cousin. I shifted so hard it messed up the shifter. Barely got it home.

170+ at Richard Pettys driving experience, 145+ a few times in a buddys SS camaro that runs mid 10s, and 130+ countless times as a young dumb kid. I am sure all the cars wernt actually going that fast, but thats what the speedos would show.

135 MPH racing a crotch rocket down in West Lafayette (Purdue University). I don't know what kind of bike it was, but I was cruising around town in my GN with about 3 of my buddies and a pack of bikes follow me out of town and the "leader" rolls up to my driver side door and wants to run. We go from about 60 and I had a car length or two on him the entire way up to 135 then I shut her down because I was scared outta my mind and was approaching a curve up ahead. Then the bike flew past me. I had to slam on my 20 year old stock brakes and by the time the car finally stopped, the front brakes were smoking. This was about 4 years ago with my bone stock motor and TE44 turbo combo.

Now that I am a little older, I realize that it is ALWAYS stupid to race that fast on the street, let alone with people in the car. From then on, I've only raced that fast by myself. I won't go over 100 anymore with someone in the car. I was in a nasty accident several years ago with another car that should have killed me but somehow I only came out of it with bumps and bruises. I wrecked at 120 mph out in the middle of nowhere and flew into a river drain-off ditch with 4 feet of water. Makes you very cautious after something like that happens.

It had way more left in it, I just got worried about getting busted.

A thirdgen Trans am has the world record for the fastest stock bodied car in the world so it doesn't take much to get it up to high speed
