How fast on a dutt neck?

What should I expect with this new mod? I went 11.71 @ 113MPH with the stock IC. Now I have the dutt neck and alky.

Really curious---reading your post it appears you went 11.71 on pump gas(before adding alky) with a stock IC.If so---that is flying---what kinda boost?---stock longblock?

The combo of both work really well together. I put alky on and ran .2 faster in the 1/4. Dutt neck install gave me about .1-.2 @25psi


My car really picked up with Eric Marshall chip .5

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the stock IC and impediment after a certain point...diminishing returns after 12's?

Don't wanna mislead fellows. I went 11.70's with race gas and 25psi.

Now I'm running alky and I heard with it the intercooler could be put on the back burner cause of the cooling effect of the alky. Can't afford a bettter IC right now is why I was wondering about the dutt neck.

If you're just putting the neck on a stock intercooler then you'll probably pick up some HP. Not too much though. I've got the Dutt neck on the intercooler in my Malibu. It's been down to mid 6's @ 107 in the 8th, BUT it was on an extended intercooler.

Update..

Been working on the car and IC. I'm hoping this Sunday I will get some track time. The car now has been mocked up where it won't be a big problem to change IC's at the track.

Hopefully, we will get to make a few passes with a stock IC, the new dutt neck IC, AND I just got a friend to let me borrow his V4.

If all goes well we will do some back to back testing on the same car, same track, same day.

Wish me luck and if anyone has any pointers before I go please post.

Please let us know what you get from adding a neck to the stock IC with the alky- Im going to guess .1 and 1mph-

Id really like to know because ive got the stocker on my daily driver.
