If everything else on a 109 block is built up...
How much power can be made on stock 8445 heads with only extensive bowl porting to unshroud the valves. No smoothing of the runners or ports. Stock sized valves. Ok, ok, it's my car's setup, but I'm just curious since I don't have "ported" heads or a ported/matched intake either, but the car runs really strong IMHO.
Do the small ports increase the velocity of air going through the head? Or would I really see much gain if I ported the heads and port matched the intake and headers? I don't think I'd notice 20-30 hp at this point, or would it be more?
Yeah, I'm bored and no new parts to play with in the garage while working on my cars...
