How fast stock (average)

Someone around here has an 86 gn for sale ($6500) with one owner and 44k on it. It has a new turbo also. I would like to know what these usually run at the track (et/mph/60ft). Any infor will be appreciated. Thanks

Mid-14's and high 90's, give or take, from the factory, but it's more pertinent to know that these cars, assuming they're in good shape, can be put into the 12's for very little $ and effort, and the 11's for a few thou and modest effort.

At $6500 and 44K and unmolested (???), if the car is in any kind of shape, it's worth it...

on a cold day and with traction you can get low 14's to very high 13's with a factory stock TR...lots of variables of course but 13.8 is pretty much the fastest i have ever seen a bone stock TR run besides a GNX and TTA

I'm taking my 24K mile GN to the track for the first time this weekend. I'll let you know

$6500 for a 44K mile GN is a steal. It's hard to find a good condition 144K mile car for that price.

make sure it's 44k. Still though, a well maintained 144k at that price still is not bad at all.

I forgot to mention that I had et streets and an exhaust cutout. AND I was wrong on the mileage it's actually 33k

Yeah it's in nice shape. I have to get rid of my car before I buy this one. Don't worry though I will get it.

I picked up my 87 GN last November for 4500 and have invested another 3000.00 which included a trans rebuild and new powermaster. I made 3 passes all stock (before trans rebuild),15lbs bst; 14.8 @ 94 mph 2.4 60ft. After trans rebuild, DP, AFPR, stock chip,ET Streets, open dump, sunoco 94; 13.6@98mph 2.0 60ft. Then I added walbro340, rear springs, hooker exhaust, thrasher chip, c16; 13.36@101 1.9560ft. I am still learning to launch this beast and need to upgrade the brakes but I think I should be able into the 12's with more boost, better launch and a different chip. My total investment is under 8000 and this car has 170k on the speedo.
