how hard to un-weld

i have a delta gate on a stock crossover that i would like to unweld and the weld it back up to my atr unit. how hard is it to unweld something

What about somply buying another mounting flange? Wouldnt that be easier?

Back to your question. A "whizzer" cutoff wheel might work. If you have access to a plasma cutter, that WILL work... just depends how hard you want it off I guess

yea, its not solder, which you can de-solder, welding is permenant, it actually makes the pieces one, so you would have to cut, and weld, i think the cap idea is better, and be careful if you do patch the whole, don't get carried awaay with an angle grinder, it is real easy to make a tube paper thin in the attempt to make it nice and smooth, and then you have a big mess.
