... another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"

not sure if you meant this as a joke or are being sarcastic, either way i got a good laugh out of it....

:)

Don't forget the 10 asking for step by step pictures of the process.

I think this is true of every forum I've been on, certainly not just here. ;)

tell me there isnt some truth to it.

As a Moderator on this BB for the last 2 yrs and on the original BB for 1 yr. I can honestly say the numbers are askew. But from my exp the content in your post could'nt be closer from the truth, sometimes you just have to laugh:D However, this is pretty much the same on all the BB's throught the Internet. It seems that the anonymity the internet provides brings out the "I'm 10 foot tall bullet proof & if you don't believe what I do your an idiot!" syndrome in alot of people concerning issues ranging from opinions, political affiliations to religion. One thing I have learned is that arguing on the internet is pointless, once someone adheres to a certain belief system the truth can be staring them in the face and they will refuse to accept it. Then the name calling starts:D

And we're supposed to accept that as a fact?:D

Here's a couple of mean faces for you:

Excellent post....lol. I really enjoyed it.:)

One more to add however........

1 moderator to change the word "bulb" because it's offensive to flowers.

3 Board members to post that this information has already been posted....

;) :D ;)

...10 to post on the "Other Light Bulb Board" asking why the topic was deleted when it was just on the next page. :p

I thought it would only take one, since the problem was obviously just a broken ground wire. LMAO,,,,,,, Mark

LMAO :D ;) :) thats the best one yet :D :) ;)

2 to ask why the original poster didn't use the Forum's own 'Search' Feature.

44 to point out that they had modified their lightbulbs to glow much brighter than the other members' bulbs/lamps/darksuckers, and that the power company pays them to use them.

5 to point out that their own DIY mods were cheaper than other competing brands of mods and that even though their bulbs took longer to change out, they still won the 'Glow for the Buck' category.

~and~

at least 1 moderator to ask all the members to play nice or that the thread will be locked or deleted. ;)

:D
