How much boost is too much?

you know if you ask anybody here they will say a wideband is a must now for tuning and the narrowband in not accurate.But everybody has tuned these cars with just the narrowband before there was widebands.

Whats wrong with a scanmaster for tuning? Its been working for me for 10 yrs, and an EGT too.

28-29psi here on pump gas and alky. Hasnt gone boom yet.

We need some more specifics on your tune up............

there is nothing wrong at all using a scanmaster to tune with. we all use to tune using narrow band. however there are better options out there now. cant really beat a TT Chip with WB tracking.
