The octane makes all difference. On street fuel (93oct) around 17psi.

On race gas you can run more.
 
need to have a fuel pump,hotwire kit,fuel pressure gauge that can be read while driving the car, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a tuning device before you turn it up so you don't blow it up!!!
 
Running 20+ boost with a TE-44 on 93 octane! (NO alky!! ) I owe it to the large front mount & turbotweek chip though..... :biggrin:

As much as you can throw at it as long as there is no detonation and good control over the a/f ratio. If the engine is detonating and lean then you may be limited to only 14-15psi. 109 R+M/2 about 25psi with 20 degrees advance is safe.

I too have run 22psi of boost with 18' of timing on my ME with 94 octane. Our 94 is 10% ethanol but high in MBTE.
