I'm a VP dealer and can get any of it. one of the highest priced fuel they have is C-44 I just got some in for a guy at 140. for 5gals. they are mixing it with c-11, they run some stock classes in IHRA were they get fuel checks after every run and they are mixing 1-4 gals and picking up about a .10 in the 1/4 mile. I'm looking in to it to see if it might help me.
How much is that VP Air Race? With a lean knock rating of 120 and rich knock rating of 157 seems like that would cover most applications... even yours maybe I will get you to bring me some to Farmington.
that stuff sells for about 9.75 gal. I'm not sure if it would work or not, may check into it later today. Yes I can bring anything to farmington I just need a weeks noticde to order it.

When does it become necessary to go from C16 to VP AIR RACE? Or can I use VP AIR RACE if I want to go higher on the boost at any time? Also, could you please help if find a way to get these fuels and know that is really what I'm getting, in the Washington D.C. area?
It may never be neccisary to go to VP Air race. In fact I am not sure anyone has even tried it on our cars. There are plenty of people running in the 8's with c-16. If your car is in tune and getting detonation with c-16(which I really don't see happening) then you may need to step up. For guys running extreme boost 35+ PSI, it may be a consideration. But I don't think anyone running a stock block should worry about it. If you are not getting any knock with the fuel you are using, then you may not even need c-16. I went 10.80 on Sunoco blue.
Thanks V6 Beast,
Do you have any idea where I can get true C16? Through looking on the web, I came across this dealer Eastern VP's Racing Fuels, but it is not up and down the east coast, more like north east.
