If any of yall had to go through the hassal of putting a new engine harness . How long did it take you to do? And do you have any tips for me to do?

Allan
Ps; have any wiring diagrams "engine wiring harness"

I just did it, took about an hour. I have the motor out right now and I can't imagine how you would get to the bottom 3 bolts that hold the inner fenderwell in place with the motor in the car. It really looks nearly impossible. Once you get the fenderwell out of the way it's a piece of cake. Included in that hour was cleaning and painting of the firewall in that area.

It took...

It took me 4hrs with the engine in the car and massive loss of blood. Lucky for me I lost most my feeling in my right hand after an injury 7 years ago. The worst part was getting the fender to budge to put the gromment in. Thats was a bit%$.:D Now I just need to replace my starter.

In the middle of doing one on my 85. Easier than I thought it would be, the trick is to remove the inner fender and liner as one piece, because you can NOT get those three bolts otherwise. had mine ripped apart and routed the ecm leads and grommet in about 3 hours, if it would stop raining I could finish plugging everything in. I'll have to go look again, but I think there are 6 bolts holding the wheel housing/liner 3 in the door jamb and three where the battery sits.
