I switched from a TE-44 to a TE-45A, man what a difference:D .
I'm using the same PTE 100 octane chip w/23* timing. I still have a stock innercooler. I run 110 octane pretty much all the time.
With the bigger turbo, how much timing should I be running with:
93 octane, and 110 octane? This is for street usage and not more than 20 psi.

The reason I ask is because I get KR when I first mash down the peddal. I'm not sure if it goes away cause as soon as I see KR, I let off the gas. My tune is: 46 fp psi.

Yeah, what wh1 said. Not much use in moving to such a big turbo to only run 20 lbs of boost. If that's all your going to run, you should have stayed with the 44. Get an alky kit and turn the boost up to 25 lbs and get into that turbo's efficiency range.

I am considering alchy. Is it possible to make my own kit, or is it easier to order? How many nozzles? What size nozzles? Do I have enough injector for 25 psi?

I would get Razor's kit. It comes with high quality parts (everything), easy install, it is progressive, and works assume. I have one on my car and run 30psi on 93 octane all the time. I tune the car once and it runs the same tune on the street as the track. I did not want to run race fuel at the track then turn down the wick and re tune for the street. The alky kit was the best bang for the buck in all the mods I have done to the car. I actually have one on my wifes 03 Regal GS, she runs a 3 inch pulley on pump gas. The stock size pulley is 3.8 inches.
You can build a do it yourself kit but it will be hobs switch controlled which is not as good since you will get transitional knock. Give Julio aka Razor a call he can walk you thru the differences between the hobs control and the his progressive one. 727 526-9724. Even if you go DIY he can supply you with most of the parts. I do not recommend the DYI though. I would get the PAC.
Give him a call and start spraying you will have a big a$$ smile on your face. I did after we put it on my car. The car seemed like it was on nitrous/steroids when I turned the wick up and spray up.

As far as enough injector talk to Julio. He is getting ready to use a 67turbo with 50s.
