I want my 2004R built with the best parts available. I want it to be able to handle 700-800 HP and close to 800-900ft lbs of torque. What kind of price will i be looking at to have it built 1) with a trans brake 2) without a trans brake. Thanks alot.

$3500-4000 not including the converter. A hyrdaulic t-brake would be $500-600 more. A torque converter will be in the $800-1200 range. It will not last too long at those torque levels. Not a good option imo. I would use a 400/gear vendors or a 4L80E. Cost a little more and last much longer.

Wow. Thats pretty exoensive. Im not going to change the 200 as i drive it on the street more than the track. Track run is only going to be once to try and hit a real low 10 or high 9. After that its just sunday cruises. I know nothing about building tranny's so i wouldnt attempt to build it as i did the motor. I'll have to start savin my coins. Im not going to build it unless the one in there that was built by Dell transmission 5 years ago craps out. Who's the best out there for building these things?

You wont need more than 650 rwhp and 700rwtq to hit low 10's high 9's at 3500 lbs. Chris at CK has a good deal on billet parts for the 200 4-R at this time. Im sure he could build a strong transmission for a decent price. Call him to inquire.

I would also recommend Chris at CKperformance.

At the original power levels mentioned, I would go 4L80E and never look back.
