Turn on and initial may need to be adjusted especially if you are getting kick down and extremely fast spoolup. I have mine adjusted so it comes in extremely fast. At 6psi it's at 100+psi. Less than .7 sec later it's over 200psi. This was part throttle from about 65mph to not blow the tires off.
