how to adjust boost with pts actuator ,standard

newbie question.I was told to screw in the rod ?There is a end that is threaded into a piece that snaps onto the turbo.Is that what adjusts ?Or is it the rod into the actuator that must screw in?Confused?

The end of the rod on the actuator will turn.There is usually a nut to lock it in place.To raise the boost you screw it towards the actuator.(make the rod shorter)Make sure you hold the rod where it goes into the actuator so only the end piece turns.
