How to beef up a stock bottom end?

I figure just use ARP bolts, balance the crank and rods. Is there anything else to do?

I use studs on the mains, the stock rod bolts have taken lots of abuse, but I now have ARP's in them as well - just for insurance. That's it. GB

Why studded mains versus bolts?

Race Jace girdle and steel main caps arp rod bolts and studs is about the best you can do IMHO
