How to Clean Injectors

I have some stock injectors of an 84 hot air with 90K on them. What would you clean these up with? Can I soak them in something? Possibly and simply just some gas? I appreciate any suggestions you guys can give. Thanks.

You mean cleaning them before installation? That I'm not sure. Dont know what all is inside the electrical part of the injector that you may not want to get liquid in. An injector expert would know.

After installation, just dump a couple gallons of xylene in the tank and drive about. Best injector and fuel system cleaner there is. Change your filter afterwards too for good measure.

Cleaner?

You send them to a shop that cleans and flow tests injectors.. Like mine!!
Do not submerse them in carb cleaner or such chemicals. I clean them w/ a cleaner as is used on jewelry.. In a bath w/ ultrasonic sound, and the inj is pulsed while being cleaned. This back flushes the crud out the way it came in.
After cleaning, they are flow checked, tested for leaks, shorts, opens, painted, [if needed] and the wear items replaced.

Reading your posts in succession. You guys sound like and infomertial. How many payments of $19.95 will your services run me. I picked these up from a buddy (fullahotair) and just want to run them on my car for less than a year until I upgrade. Let me know and if it's in the budget I'll send um out. Whats the turn around time? Thanks alot.
