How to fix the thdp fitment issue on a GTQ housing??

Guys, I have a 70GTQ and a 3inch thdp. A part of the flange on the thdp is to small and is in the way of the exhaust flow of the turbo housing. Not alot of meat at all to grind a way at the mounting flange. Does anyone offer a fix for this instead of buying another exp pipe??

You can have a fabricator make a template with a larger flange then cut it out with a plasma cutter. Then you cut yours off and weld on the new one. I usually just grind it out . Leaving it thin is not a problem.
