How to tell???

I recently purchased an 87 GN and the guy I bought it from said it had been converted to R-134. But I looked and found the factory sticker stating the car is Usin R-12. My question is, are there any tell tail signs that it is R-134?

The service hose connections are different and should have been left on there.
