Use a timing light, and timing tape on the balancer. You can verify everything that yway and adjust your FAST to compensate. Reference angle and all.
I built a simple tool that slides into a stock balancer and has a aluminum strap that I wleded to it to match a known good stock interruptor ring. It uses the key way to index it. Someone on this board made a TRICK toll that does a heck of a job. Check this thread out. A PM might be in order to A2000RICH;) http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/engine-tech/250094-bhj-dampner-trigger-wheel-clocking.html
