Anone tried this yet??? Easier way/location to install a bleeder valve?

Drill out the hole on the vent side of the wastegate solenoid,....install a bleeder directly in line??

Closed all the way takes you to stock setting and you can open slightly or more to up the boost???

Anyone? Or am I over simplifying something here.....

Well,... F#@$ it,... no replies,.... either I'm a dumb ass or no one knows,... I'm going to do it.....

No reason it wouldn't work.
Most people just put them in line so they don't trash the solenoid.

There's lots of ways you can do it.

A way I've done it is to
1. replace the Y with a normal plastic tee
2. Put a needle valve between the compressor and the tee

Basically the valve is taking the place of the restrictor that was in the plastic Y. But now you have a variable restrictor. Open the valve to where it offers the same restriction as the original Y, and you get performance exactly the same as before. Close the valve, restrict the signal to the wastegate, boost goes up. Open the valve, boost goes down. Pretty simple.
