Anyone use one of the swaybars that bolt to the rearend yet?
How's it working out?
I need more traction and I'm hopeing this is the answer.

Please post your combo and suspension mods. What kind of tires are you racing with? :)

I use one on my GN.

Haven't been to the track yet to test it.

Getting used to it on the street however and the handling is becoming more familiar and I like it a lot better now for street use than when I first put it on the car.

Off the line the car plants well works great on a bunch of racecars for traction, already been proven. :)

Good product, get the lower and upper arms too. :D

My combo:
stock block and heads 920000 miles
new valve springs
T 70 BB
63mm intake
front mount
72lb injectors
Max Effort 16 Pos mass air less
4"inlet pipe and filiter
Hemco doghouse
THDP with stock style actuator
Hooker exhaust
3000 stall 7 disc lockup
front and rear suspension stock
DR out back 275/50/15 on 10" wide T wheel looking to go to
325/50/15
Best time 12.0 @ 112
Best 60" 1.66
normally 1.80

WOW, that is quite the combo. How hard have you pushed it? 1.6XXX 60' times are insane on drag radials. How much boost are you launching at? I am sure that you should be able to get more than 12's out of that combo.

With my TE44 turbo and stock suspension w/ (two air bags) I was able to pull a 1.640 60 ft time launching at 5lbs of boost. Anything more than 5lbs of boost and I would cut consistant 1.7xxx short times. The HR sway bar surely wont hurt anything.

New Concept?

It's been awhile since I've seen that set up. Some 19 years ago on my brother's Monza had that same set up. Welded up some channel iron where the sway bar bushings would bolt up. He used the front sway bar style end links to bolt up the ends to a bracket that was welded somewhere forward of the axle near the floorpan. This car was set up for corner carving but I can see how it will make a tremendous improvement for straight line acceleration. This is good news for me since the lower control arms in my kit has no provisions for a sway bar! stew

WOW, almost one million miles on your car (920,000)! :) I assume that is a typo.

With your combo and even a 1.80 60', you should be running quicker/faster. If you don't have a scantool, spend money on that rather than the swaybar at this time.

I don't push it too hard. I'm running about 22lbs of boost.
Yes thats a typo.(92000)
With a 1.6 I was only a tenth off.
Yes I have T Links. The heads are really holding me back.
Next time at the track I'm going to crank up the boost.

Thanks
Chad

Same setup as 1st gen Camaros and Novas. Different dimensions, I'm sure.
