Sitting in garage no leak, drove car to get it smogged.... sitting in driveway for a week no leaks, Then went on vacation gone a week, come home and now the whole underneath of the car is a trans puddle. Trans is new less the 500 miles it's not wet in pump area it's wet along pan rail all bolts are tight cooler lines not leaking any suggestions

Wicking thru the gasket...if the pan has been over torqued just 1 time, the areas around the holes will "cave in", and the gasket will not have an even load on it= leaks.

thanks...gonna change pan gasket. Just didn't think that would be it because trans was just rebuilt, but i will try that. Thanks again

need to flatten the areas around the holes, when U get it off. Another problem I've seen, is cork gaskets, and cheapo papers, will wick, even if the pan rails are strait, and properly torqued.
When getting a gasket, get a good quality. I use Hylomar gasket dressing on mine. Helps some, and the gasket will come off easier, should removal be necessary.
