anyone using this? I was woundering how low it hangs down and how it works with the 700R4 filter.

Tim,
It hangs down maybe another 2 inches.
I really like these pans...
The fit is excellent, even around the larger aftermarket lock up solenoids.
You will have to grind/mill the filter legs in the pan for 700 filter use.
