Had a cool front come thru"The Big Easy" today and the humidity dropped significantly. My car ran perfectly all day. Could this be a coincidence??? It didn't buck or cough once all day. Boy,it was a pleasure to drive !! Does humidity have anything to do with the performance of these cars? Tommy

No coincidence, these cars thrive on cold, dry air.
Nothing like a 50 degree October day to wake up your
engine:p

Humid air contains water ,so since water doesn't burn it takes the place of air in your cylinder .... less power , but you won't detonate much :)

I don't know why, but my car won't idle as well when its humid, its quite odd.

I remember one humid night at the drag strip my car choked
and died on the starting line when I tried to stage and spool
up the turbo. Cough-cough-die:o
It was so damp you could see a halo around all the track
lighting, trying to run a number was a big waste of time.
