Ever wanted to be different and run Hurst Lightning Rod Shifters in your car? Here is your chance w/o the hassle of finding everything yourself or repairing a old worn out shifter. I have debated on selling it for some time so now is your chance.

Included is: Lightning rod shifters fully rebuilt, custom black cover plate by Mark Huffman including ashtray cover. Mounting brackets, and hurst shifter cable w/transmission mounting bracket.

I"m selling for what I have invested: $800 if using paypal please add 3%

I've seen these sell for over 1100 on ebay for just the shifter.

Here is a link that shows basically what the install looks like. I will include an already cut top plate that the overlay will sit on so you don't have to cut yours.

Hurst Lightning Rod Installation

I would also be interested in some trades. I would consider 4 front GTA wheels, 15" rims with/without drag radials, a quarter-stick setup, or other GN parts I need or don't need for a full or partial trade.

*The above pic is an example of what they will look like* I have a different but similar top plate made by Mark Huffman. The only piece you will need is the small sliver in the back because my has my name on it as you can see in one of the picture links.

I'd also consider a trade that included a powerlogger or PTS aluminum radiator.

Item is sold pending funds via snail mail. I really hate to sell this as I know I"ll never find another for this price. I hope the owner enjoys.

"Interested in a polished aluminum core support?"

Wow, I didn't even know something like that exsisted!

Yeah, I really don't want to get rid of it to tell the truth. I just could use the money to buy more parts. Cash is tight now with two kids in daycare. I'm glad to see the old PimpGN is getting taken care of. I was just telling a friend the other day about how I was going to make a GNX clone out of it.

Ask and you shall recieve..

Are you sure you want to get rid of those lightning rods? Those are so hard to find. That would be like me parting with my 2 Kodiaks..:D :D :D

They sat in my garage for a long time unused. I could never make up my mind on installing them so I figured I'd rather use the money than the space they were taking up.

Just think once you sell those Lightning rods, they'll be gone. Then you'll wish you hadn't sold them.:( I only seen one other GN with them installed, they looked really kool...
