you got the name or # to that place ?? I would buy that car in a min for a daily driver and sell those f-uped wheels asap !

I'll bet there's a 99% chance this car is owned by a black person. Seems like only they think big rims on a car are cool.

And yes they like G body cars as well as B body cars. Even worse is when it's an A body car. That seems to be the "in" thing to them.

Perhaps the owner spent his last dime on the rims or otherwise it would be sitting 10 feet in the air.

I'll bet the old man is standing there shaking his head wondering what the world is coming to.....

Guess, i'll have to get some for my T since i'm black.

No, dont bet on that..where i live you see more white people than blacks with 20`s or better rims....so believe every time you see a car with 20`s its black owned....

LOL! And where do you live? Thug City? I can't say I've ever seen any white boys driving a Cutlass with big rims. 99% of the time it's black....maybe it's a white boy that's confused??

reminds me of all the hot wheels toy cars you have seen in the past 15 years

otherwise i think the olds is better looking than the buick, monte & gp (ugliest) in that order

I like how the vinyl interior is labeled as "leather"... morons.

ah, so Otto, are you the new member over at Oldspower?

maybe you need to get out more...or move closer to population :D

It’s not a "Color" thing its Hood RAT thing.
From what I can tell it’s not having the money for a high end car so they try and "Pimp" anything they can get their hands on.
I lived in the hood and all my friends whir hood rats I guess I was too.

I just never had it in me to drop big money into "Bling" I always just wanted to go fast.

I was kid with rust holes, lots of primer OE wheels with slicks and go fast parts.

BTW I was in Cherry Hill last week and I saw a late 70s light green B-body the car actually looked good but the 20s plus killed the whole look of the car.YUK.

Donks

Don't they have to lift the suspension to get these tires and wheels underneath? or do they just bolt them on?

I always thought the lightning rods were super cool but seemed kind of a waste on a car that did the 1/4 mile in 15+ seconds.

You're probably right that it is owned by a black person. Although on the South Side of Chgo, I see white boys with 20's and up daily. Alot of younger black kids were not raised up in the hotrod era or around race cars. They just want to be different than everybody else, which is "cool" to them.

And yes, G and B body cars are part of the "in" thing where I live. I own both, although my cars don't have 20"+ wheels on them, but bigger than stock.

As a matter of fact, I'll put my car up against yours in a virtual car show or on a dragstrip any day to show you another side of what is "cool".

Here's one I spotted in my neighborhood today:

And this one, while not a G body, is the next street over from me:

I always do things to my car that I feel look good. i can do that since i own it. If you pay for the car car, its yours to do whatever you want . unfortunately, there have been times when i look back at the dumb trends that i did follow such as the monte carlo tailpipes and heartbeat stripes.

Mr 84Regal3.8, would you feel better if the car had chevy rally wheels and sidepipes on it? I sure hope not.

Actually Chevy rally rims (if you're speaking of Corvette rallys) are a very nice attractive rim that look good on almost anything you put them on. They are one of the only few rims out of Detroit that actually look good.

Now side pipes.....maybe on an old 23 Ford T bucket or something, but on a Caddy or a Cutlass? Ummm no.
