Have you thought about posting a car wanted ad on Oldspower.com? It's a great site for Olds related stuff (I own a 442).

i just located a 83 hurst olds thats all original except for flowmaster exhaust,it has original paint thats near mint a couple of stone chips,it has a small cigarette burn on the passenger seat, the interior is grey with no t-tops and it just turned 100000 miles while i was driving it,it has the window sticker and all manuals,he wants 9500.00,but said he his hurting for some cash to put a roof on his house so he will take $7000.00 and thats firm, what do you guys think?thanks

I think it's a very fair price. Keep in mind that the sandstone grey interior is a rare option. Most H/O's have the burgandy interior. If the car is unmolested and as clean as you say then it is easy worth $7,000. A buddy of mine owns that same car but 70K miles and with T tops. He paid $13,500.

just called the dealer in ct. and they said its not for sale and never will be,its the owners first car, thanks anyways

I agree. I would jump on a grey interior one for that price. Especially if its clean.
