Hello to all my hot air friends,

I have a problem with my power steering belt being to loose, Last time i tried to tighten it up, i gave up due to not being able to loosen the power steering pump. I wanted to see if anyone knows if it could be done & what steps i need to take so i can replace the belt. Thanks in advance, Luis.

Dumb question;
Did you loosen the 14mm (??) bolt in the back of the pump?

as I recall, I loosened 2 nuts with no luck!
From what I can tell, there's really nothing else I can loosen!
If you tell me that's all there is holding the pump, I'll take a hammer to itJk! I hope my squealing is the belt that is loose & not the pump!

If I recall:
2x15mm in the front (bracket connected to the head).
1x14mm in the back of the reservoir.

The unit will not move unless you loosened up the back bolt.
Hopefully it is that simple.

Thanks alot guys! I finally got my belt changed! I Had 3x 15mm bolts on the front & 1x 15mm nut on the back. Thanks again!
