I’m posting this for a friend. He recently bought an on center short block and he’s trying to identify the cam specs. It looks like it says Bowling Customs on it . Not sure if there is anyway to do this but any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure of the manufacturer however the 268 would be in reference to the duration and HR 10 would be in reference to the lobe separation angle. HR would typically be "hydraulic roller". As sort of a swag I'd suspect it's a single pattern cam on a 110 LSA with somewhere around 224 degrees duration at .050". If you have a cam grinder anywhere near you they cam put it on the cam doctor and run it for you to see what it really is.

I think that it may have been a N/A type cam and was ground to change the profiles. Just looking at the original stamp marks that were etched over or rubbed off. I agree on sending it to a cam grinder. If it is Bowling Green Customs related it could be a really nice cam. They had sponsored D'Alessandro's car back in the day.

Pretty sure Bison has equipment to measure ans straighten out cams.
