Does anyone have a list of the fittings needed to use stainless braided lines on a Hydroboost set up. I would like to use braided lines and I don’t want to buy a $300 kit to do it.

i'll try and find the list i have here, might take a day or 2

heres some
summit hydroboost line--aer-fbm2608 and 2609
hydroboost ends--991956-6an pressure
991955--6an bypass

aslo this will be the best brakes you will need,,, my gn will hold 20# no problem

Try this in the video he gives the part numbers for the an fittings (earls) and they are the ones i bought i havent installed the one in the ps pump so i dont know if it fits since its a syclone not a gn and i dont think he tells what size are needed for the gearbox but the ones for the hydroboost work great...thats as far as ive gotten.. http://www.tuneyfish.com/video_player.php?vid=237

Here i just finished mine...

You would not happen to have a part number handy would you???

Based on whats available from RockAuto under '84 C10 it looks like DORMAN Part # M39413 but does bore size have any bearing on it? This one fits 1 1/8" and 1 37/64" bores - it appears the hydroboost bore is 1 3/16"...see WAGNER Part # MC104456.

Mine came from autozone for an 89 chevy pickup i dont remember the part number i think i still have the box somwhere ill post the number if i got it still...1 1/8 bore size was too big for mine....

i would alsol like the part# on the MC as i can't seem to seal the Cardone cast iron one...i'm always wiping its brake oil laden asz.

I had the same problem with 1 1/8 bore being too big. I was thinking I got the wrong booster unit. Part number would be great! Have you tested/driven it?

I think this is the one i used i do have the box but i completely forgot to get the # Fenco New/Master Cylinder (Brake System) (NM2218) | Master Cylinder (Brake System) | 1989 Chevrolet C1500 1/2ton P/U 2WD 8 Cylinders K 5.7L TBI | AutoZone.com Also as far as the lines go i spent like $150 on the aeroquip teflon line and all the fittings i used i used 3 90 degree fittings, and one 45 (gearbox) ,and the fittings used in the video were correct except the one at the pump is the same one that goes in the fender side on the hydroboost and that fitting also fits the gearbox..I bought 10' of line which was wayy too much but i ended up using about 5-6 feet of it also a cut off wheel seemed to work best for cutting it...Just duct tape a lil strip around the area you want to cut first and chop away!!!! The line will fit behind the ac bracket and still move freely...

I checked and bled my rear brakes yesterday and ill do the fronts tomorrow..then i can sit my car on the ground and start it up to see how it works plus i get to see how my new wheels look without it being on jackstands!!! So far i got a decent pedal and i havent done the fronts yet..

I ended up having to cut off my factory fitting and put a smaller 3/16 one on and reflare the line to get it line to work without sucking air at my line lock.. It seemed impossible to find an adapter fitting to fit the factory fitting that has the correct size flare..If you look at it big fitting small line...

Umm fellas dont choke me but thats why i put( I think) on my post..I looked at my box today and its actually a NM2220...I bled my brakes let the car down and fired it up, and it works !!! I had to fill my reservoir a few times and my pump is whining, but it seems that the more i work the steering and pump the pedal the quieter the pump gets..Im hoping once i take it out and drive it over time it will quiet up... I spooled it up and it didnt move an inch or break the tires loose im glad i plumbed in the line lock while doing this conversion i havent wired it up yet but im happier than a fat kid with a fresh choclate cake!!!!!!!!
