Everyone said the razor alky kit was easy to install. Damn, easy isn't the word. The hardest part was finding the right tools in my dad's mess of a garage. I really expected to run into some kind of a problem since everything I ever try to do myself ends up to be a disaster. All tests worked without any problems. For anyone out there who doesn't think they can do this because of mechanical ability, trust me, if I can do it, anyone can. Not to mention, the feeling it gives you to accomplish something on your own is great. Can't wait to get this thing tuned in. Maybe since I'm a little more proud about my car, I'll post a pic on here for you guys. Thanks Julio for the customer support. New 1/4 times coming very soon. Tim

Congrats !!!! Care to share a few pics of your install? What were your times before?

no pics yet. I'll post them after I get the dash back together. 13.1 @ 100 on 235/60/15 M/T's with a soft launch, 16-17 psi & 93 pump gas. Hope to gain at least 3/4 of second on alky. Full second would really make me smile but I doubt it. I plan to run 22-24 psi with the alky. I see your combo is about the same as mine. What do you run?

congrats on buyin and installing alky kit. your set up with good tune and launch should net you mid 11's easy

I haven't run it at the track yet. The guy I bought it from said she went 11.80 at 118mph. No alky, I think he used race gas, but didn't know how to tune. You may now find you have traction issues. Mine will blister the MT 275/60 DR for 200 feet.

mid 11's, what?

I didn't think 11's would be there until I do heads & cam.

I'm curious to see what this turbo does when I raise the boost to the sweet spot. The reason for only 13.1 is the soft launch. I don't want to abuse it too much on stock axles & no drive shaft loop. That will be the next investment for sure. I think line lock & drive shaft loop are the cheapest things to do that I need. 11's is the goal for me, so I'm getting there or maybe already am but I doubt it.

Stock longblock on heavy car 25-27 PSI will get you into the 11's on a semidecent 60 foot. Local car uses the small MT drag radials 235/60's and has run 11.8 on a stock longblock car, 44 turbo, 25 PSi boost

Some guys run less boost and more timing, some more boost and less timing.. it is whatever your car likes the best.
