I found this thread from chargerforums about a guy going to race his buddy that has a GN

Haha. Good read, saw a few names go by. Gary Wells cracked me up with the "how fast could it be" comment. SloGN doing some educating.

I don't think KillerBee knows how much more modern vehicles weigh these days.

I did chuckle at the "Ali didn't fight Tyson" comment too. :D

Thanks for posting, killed some time on an otherwise boring workday.

Some of my favorite posts from that thread.:)

GN's are fairly cheap to modify so watch out!
This coming from someone that hasn't owned one.

You won't think your car is in park, though. Give the HEMI some credit. It will seem more like a couple of guys are pushing it down the street with it in neutral.
This is just plain funny.:D

Since there are about 3 stock GNs left in the country, I'd say you're going to lose.. how bad depends on how much is done to it. You could very easily get embarrassed to the point you might consider suicide so I probably would pass on racing the GN if I were you.
Fairly sound advice but he doesn't want to take it.

Mod suggestions, anyone?
Now he's getting worried a little.:p

A jet engine strapped under your car?
JayC's answer. LOL:ROFLMAO:

That last post gave me an idea.
RUN FOREST RUN!
Best advice he's received so far.;)

Has all the makings of a troll post trying to stir conversation about TRs. Not the first and wont be the last. It's always funny how many take the bait...

That thread was a very good source of entertainment. So funny reading that stuff from non-buick guys.

Its probably why almost nobody wants to play on the street. I have YET to get a mustang to try me at a light. They always pull away granny style. :( I know there are cars out there that will beat me and I'd like to loose some. But its boring not getting "tried"

Loved it. Very enjoyable.......thanks for the link. Makes me feel so good that I own a Grand National.

My favorite comment: "Walk away.....honest. Only way he sees your tail lights is if you are a one lane road leaving the movie theater and he stays to watch the credits. Period!!!"

I spanked up a Challenger BAD with a stock T-type absolutely stock! He had bolt on exhaust tune and intake i whipped his ass up pretty bad..It's in the kill section few yrs ago..lol That look they give when your pulling away Priceless

Read the whole thing. What a blast from the past. It had Gary Wells, Morgan Hayden, Jay C. The late Steve Hurst, and more.
For Turbo Buick entertainment value, I'd give this a 10+
