I drive a co- workers yellow '68 442/4 spd in high school. Turned me on to muscle cars. Awesome performance!! Lacked some in handling though. Ended up having 2 '68 Cutlass S's later on.
 
That's cool!!! I wish I had the opportunity to drive more classic muscle cars. I've only driven my Dad's old '67 Chevelle, '66 Mustang and our father / son '65 Cutlass. I owned a '79 TA for quite awhile, but it was do slow. It handled well. Now it's just the GN and the '95TA. Someday even the TA will be classics.

68 and older Olds 400s were the good ones, the 69 was a different configuration and not as good of a performer. Olds and Pontiac engines are similar and can be great street performers.
 
Very nice! I grew up around Oldsmobiles, and I've been trying to talk my Dad into getting an old one....but he's not a car guy so it's been a losing battle....I did e-mail him the link to that page though! :D

A friend of mine has one identical to that. Motor/trans/color, everything.
