first run.. slicks on.. never used slicks before.. heated them up (but not enough)..

blink 3psi.. blink blink 539 rt.. GO.. 1.94 60ft.. ew.

woosh..

finish line... felt good..

8.94@75.55

what the ****?

try again.. roll up to burnout box.. going to heat em up good this time, right.. spin.. vrooshh.... ouingro2tinr. car dies. hum... neutral.. vroom......drive.. vrroooshh..osinoeirn..car dies. repeat. car dies.

i backed it out.. checked erverything.. my friend built 8psi on the footbrake and the car was fine. told him to drive it, i was embarassed to drive it.

burnout.. dies.

he stages anyway.. leaves off idle .544.. 2.08 60ft

9.17@75.75 2.3 tenths slower, 2 tenths faster mph

since last time @ the track: new 87 ignition, NGK UR5s, ATR DP, slicks.

yes, because i DO like losing 4mph and 4 tenths.

boost was relatively the same.. 15/17psi.. FP is rather high.. i think my t-link is screwed up or something.. i run 45-46psi to keep my O2's alright.. i really need a FFP 02/knock gauge..

i think the UR5s might be too hot.. my experiment w/te colder CR42's was to see if it'd let me run a few psi more maybe.. i think it worked.

trying dave's 84 ignition...... maybe it will not kill the car when i try to do a burnout..

if anything. i should have run the same 8.6@79.. right? but no.. i put on a downpipe and run slower.

i hate this car.

you said the fuel pressure is kinda high yourself but before i got to that part i was thinking sounds way rich

so when it boost up in the burnout and comes to idle it sounds like it has more fuel than it knows how to burn.

mine tries to die when backing out to fast when the fuel is up too high

it dies before i have a chance to let off te gas.. i couldnt even do a burnout properly cuz as i got the wheel speed up it just died, 3 times in a row..

:( Hmm, sorry to hear about all these problems you're having with your car nick... Could it possibly be running too rich? When I ran high psi fuel pressure, it also did the same thing to mine. Also wouldn't do a good burnout with it so high. Just some insight. If the 84 coil makes a diff, then I guess that would have to be it. HTH
