i was driving my car when it was cool out the other day. i got on it and boost was a 17, then backfired. after that the car idled rough, but would cruise fine. s.m. was reading 000 o2 @ idle nor do the cc's cycle. but off idle it drives fine and the o2 and cc's appear to work normally. then i got code 44. so i changed 02 and its the same thing. what would cause the 02 not to be read at idle. before this happend i replaced the coil+mod., mass air, fuel pump+filter. bigger injectors.
thanks in advance.
steve

CLOSELY check the intercooler hoses (maf-turbo hose, too)... sounds like the backfire probably blew one loose and now you have a massive vacuum leak at idle, showing extremely lean o2's.....

Depending on the chip, the CC's may cycle very little or not at all at idle.
