Well i just pick up my t-type and its nice, all it need is a new paint ,and new turbo im good to go.Iwas driveing the car home, Ilook down at the spedo, and saw that it was jumping up and down.Dose any one know how to fit .....? what kind of time can i get out of a hot air t-type

Usually when the speedo does that there is a problem with the counter weights in the head. You have to have it repaired by a professional or get a new one.
And deppending on how much you wanna spend is how fast you go. You can get into the 13's with just a few mods and some high octane fuel.

bouncing Speedometer

If the needle is bouncing when you are at low speeds and clears up when moving faster, pull the cable and lubricate.

If bouncing at higher speeds get a new unit from the bone yard. There are lots of Regals out there in the yards with good speedometers.

where do i lube the cable at trany side,or spedo side. All what tool do use to get severice eng soon code at ,what the name of the tool:confused:

Another place to check is where the cable attaches to the driven gear sleeve on the transmission. If the teeth on the gear are chewwed up or the sleeve is worn it also causes the speedo to jump. Eric Fisher

Clean and Lube

Pull the front of the instrumnent panel out enough to release the cable ! Pull the cable out of the housing and clean it with penetrating oil ! As you push it back in the housing add some Marvel Mystery Oil ! if you have Cruse control, you will haveto do that Cable also!
