Well as most of you seasoned Buick guys know these cars can give you a reall ass kicking......well it has been that way for me since I have been messing with theses cars the past 14 or so years. It seems like the more I know and learn.....there are still things that throw me for a loop. The car I have now is the 3rd GN I have owned....I guess you could say it's a love hate relationship. I always seem to run across bugs that are stubborn as hell to find and no one else seems to have the same issue.

Anyway I have been fighting bugs in the fresh build since I popped a gasket earlier this year......I just fixed the cam sensor issue then I was having boosting issues with the sh*tty waste gate on my TH down pipe. It always binds up causing the gate to not fully close when it gets hot. I have open the hole once before but still having issues....I pulled it off again and this time I really opened it up:biggrin:

Went for a drive a lil while ago and everything is working like it should which puts a big smile on my face. I am keeping the bosst low right now 16-17 psi but the car still wont hold the Drag radials.

Massive tire spin=counter steering=

Anyway I thought I would post a positive thread since alot are involving issues or rants about how pissed off someone is:eek: I find that it really helps to walk away and attack the problem another day and i always seem to find the issue. Sometimes it takes longer than other times but when these cars are running right it makes the frustration worth it !

Sweet! Is there a group still getting together once a month in ATL?
I wanna say yes but it has been a while since I have met up with those guys, but I do see alot of them at ATL local car shows, there is probably 7-8 of us Buick guys that all live within 30 miles of each other so we bump into eachother or pass on the road all the time. As a matter of fact I just saw Joe and Alan last month at the Year one show that Chip Foose was at.

Feels great getting behind the wheel and finally having things go right. Congrats.

Amen to that.....as many times as this car has put up a fight to me it really pays off when it's right!
