Either everyone is right and says I am just getting used to the car or I am loosing my mind. Yes its still fast, but I use to be able to go mid way on the gas and could smoke the tires, now no dice.
 
I hear Neal doesnt work on cars anymore.

I emailed Don wang and he said he could but just has never tuned in alky. Well I dont think the Alky would be a problem i could even do that part. SO may call Lou or go to Don its up in the Air.
 
FWIW:
I would never underestimate Don Wang's capabilities, and I would consider both excellent choices, but Lou has been running an SMC alky kit on his black turbo-t, is switching over to a Razor kit on it, and has burnt chips for both alky and non-alky.

check for headers leaks any type of leaks will make your car slow, with a scanmaster it would be a breeze to tune your car.
 
Yeah the 3600 seems to be the ticket

Lou for motor, Don for Tranny, 3600 Art Car stall...... PRICELESS :D
A couple of the guys on here said If I bring the car down, they will help with the tuning. Cant wait till I get my vacation so i can finally put all the goodies in the car and get it tuned.

Wells, I got a chip from Eric, and I have heard Lou burns them. I should have went with him even tho Eric is very good.

Wicked I think I will post tonight what my readings are on the scanmaster. I have been told I am running too rich, My BLM's are always at 90 except for when I start the car up they start at 115 and then when i start to drive they will go down to 90. I will post in park and normal driving around 110 LOL ;)
OK I mean 65-70.

OK I mean 65-70.

IF your BLM"S are dropping down into the 90's while driving and 110 at idle you have an 02 sensor that is going bad, a MAF going bad, major AIR LEAK or an injector sticking in the open position, the ECU is compensating by taking fuel out for whatever your problem is, thats why your Blm's are that low, check everything and report back.

Wicked the 110 was supposed to mean 110MPH LOL

I should have put the MPH. The BL's start @ 115 and drop to 90 after driving and then stay @ 90. But this is the same thing that you are saying others have said to check. I was supposed to check all this last night but, didnt have a pen and said I would do it today and forgot. Now I will do it at Dinner Tonight.
 
Ok was only able to get the scans in park, idle

I do here a slight leak on my passengers side when I first start the car up. I already replaced the header from postons about 6 months ago. I am always seeming to have a leak on the passenger side. I went ahead and put copper gaskets on the passenger side and this has held up the longest. I was thinking about putting the thermal wrap on the Down pipe to cut down oh the heat it generates and maybe this would help.
Here are my scan #s in park @ idle

I have a translator that I can decrease the fuel if too rich and a MSD DIS 4 that I can decrease if too rich which one would be best to use?

go into the Translater and set it to 3.5" 10% at idle this will bring your BLM'S to around 130 at idle which is almost perfect give it some time at idle before it settles in, this change wont effect your WOT but the leak definetly will you gotta fix that, also make sure your FP is set to 43psi line off it should go down to around 36/38 psi when the line is hooked back on.
 
I still have the 42.5's in there, so still set it to 43 line off?

And i will go into the translator and set it to 3.5 10%

What on the scanmaster is showing I have a leak. I know that it will rob you of Horsepower, but which one is showing I have a leak and then what should it be at once I find it, so I will know that it is fixed, thanks

look at your blm's, if they are lower or higher than 128 by 10 points at idle you have a vacumm leak or a sticking injector, double check everything.
 
Wicked, so that you know he is running a race chip in the car I am not sure whos chip it is but dont forget that some chip burners cut out the bl#s until WOT...something to keep in mind :biggrin: when he puts the 60lb injectors in I know he has erics chip that is cut for alky...so bl may change just by simply changing the chip.....food for thought.....

Actually your are partly right, if he as erics chip blms will lock at WOT at 128 to keep air to fuel more steady but they will still jump and down unless they lock once the open loop mode is enable, erics chip has an open loop idle which tells me he should be looking at the 02's reading and they should be jumping up and down between 800's and 850's which means he is in around 14.7 air to fuel ratio, open loop means that the 02's are always learning and once in while when he comes to a stop the BLM's will jump up and down like eric says just to make sure is in the right parameters, but if his blms are off at idle then he has a fuel problem or a vacumm leak problem and he should address the problem :), ask me how i know, I also have erics alky chip and 60's mototron injectors and i work in the computer business. ;)

Im pretty sure it is a quad air chip and I am unfamilliar with there programs as they were around before I had a buick....he has erics chip but has not installed it yet.....
