I need a SMALL oil filter, HELP!!

I've put around 100 miles on my Iroc since the "swap" and I looked under it tonight to make sure everythink was looking Ok. Well, my oil filter looks like it could break open at any moment! The Idler arm is WAY too close to my AC52 when I turn the wheel and I guess the torqing (Sp?) of the engine makes it worse! I'm going to try the AC47, but is there anything Smaller? I need something less the 2.5 inches long. I don't really care about filter area because I'll change it pretty often. Thanks for the help guys! And if there's none smaller I guess I'll get a relocation kit

Do you still have the oil cooler adapter in place? That will net you 1" or so just putting the filter straight to the oil pump cover.

Yeah, the oil cooler adapter is still on it, figured I needed it, but the more I read on here, it seems like it's not necessary....

roc87, I'm pretty sure that you should go to a remote mounted filter...It would solve your problem, and you could also keep the cooler adapter...Just my opinion...'Bye, Claude.

Who else sells these remote filters besides Johnsperformance.com? Just want to check out the options before spending the money I had set aside for gauges on a remote filter set up.
