Code 33-Maf Sensor High.
I am using a translator(not plus) and 3.5 LS1 Maf.
Switches are ON ON ON OFF
Round Dial Switches are set at 1 and 0.

Code 41-Tach Input Error. I have no clue as to what this one is.

Code 33 is set when:
1) Engine is idling
2) TPS is 10% of less
3) Air flow is more than 150 grams/sec
4) All of the above are met for 5 secs. or more

Code 41 is set when:
1) Engine running
2) Cam sensor not seen by ECM for 1 sec. or more

If I understand this correctly then the TPS should be approximately .38 temporarily while trying to elimate error code 33.
And it seems like I have a bad cam sensor.

If I understand this correctly then the TPS should be approximately .38 temporarily while trying to elimate error code 33.
And it seems like I have a bad cam sensor.

It means the throttle position is open 10% or less. So if the throttle position sensor is set at .42v then the TPS would be at .46v or less.

It could be a bad cam sensor or a connection problem somewhere. Either the cam sensor connector or the connector on the ignition module.

If you clear the codes do they come back immediately?

The code 33 could be ignition noise, bad ground on the maf sensor circuit, or something strange going on with your translator or maf.

On the cam sensor I would check all your connections first before replacing it. The fact that the engine starts says the cam sensor is working sometimes.

Where are the common ground locations? I will check and verify that they are not loose or rust. I appreciate the help.
