We dont have any upgrade plans yet. Since we didnt end up doing two versions of the mobile app, we can offer some kind of ad free experience here and on the mobile app. I dont know whats a fair price tho and I have an idea I want to talk to Shane about regarding that anyways.

Since us vendors are already paying a good fee how about all supporting vendors get to enjoy a Add Free experience? Just a suggestion....

You can take that up with Shane. I dont have anything to do with the financial side of things.

Besides that, even at this point, I couldnt exempt people if I wanted to. The ad system wasnt configured with that in mind here when I set it up. It will take some changes to make this even possible.

Ah.. well, Ive asked the Forum Runner guys to block access to this site through the Forum Runner app.. Ill see if I can get him to hold off until the IOS version is available in the market.

Because the mobile app wasnt free and we have to recoup costs somehow. Nothing we do here is free except for the service the end users get. Its amazing how much flak we get just trying to keep this place afloat. It costs well over $1000 a month to keep the doors open here and adding stuff like mobile apps, skins, new forum software, addons for the forum software, etc all cost money.

I think we can do okay with the ads. We're not trying to make some huge profit and get rich off of this forum like the folks at AutoForums or Internet Brands. We're just trying to pay the bills and keep the lights on.
