Iat sensor

I'm debating in wether to install the iat sensor it's throwing the code since my ECM upgrade is it necessary ? Or would it be the same deal to just get a chip burned with out it ? Second is there a link or thread that gives a list of cars I can pull the iat sensor off of and will work with my 87 ECM ? If that can be done thanx

I installed it on mine. It was very easy. I don't know if it was inportant for the tune but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have it so i can see what temp the air going in the intake was.

Did u buy a new one off one of our buick vendors ? Auto parts or pulled a used from another buick Or car?

I used the one that was on the Buick I got the harness from.
