hey guys,

i need to unload this laptop because i got into some photography and lenses aren't cheap.

mint condition and includes a docking station with dvd rom/cdrw.

this cost me over $2000 and uses really good components. the lcd screen is a samsung and sells new for $400. i'm asking $400 shipped for buick guys. i have it posted elsewhere for much more.

I'm interested,How old is the laptop? Will it run direct scan?Is it in good working condition?
it's a little over 3 years old.

it should work with DS but you need to use the dock since that has the serial port. it has plenty of ram and hard drive space for that requirement. You should check the minimum requirements from DS but i'm sure it's fine.

yes everything works. the screen is perfect. that's the biggest issue with used laptops.
DS requires a parallel port.

DS doesn't work with Windows XP
thanks for chiming in. it does have a parallel port on the dock but yes it's unfortunately xp too.

pretty old software. i know you can run dual OS but you'll need to locate a windows cd.

That unit looks a lot like the T30 I bought for my daughter.

What model is it?

The T series have been excellent units in my experience.

What software do you need to run direct scan?

Direct Scan.... It will run on Win 98 and below... I have it on my XP desktop, and it runs fine for analyzing/reviewing data, although I don't know if it will receive/record from an xp platform... Bob says 'no', and he should know...
I traded Robert some injectors for a laptop. Wouldn't hesitate dealing with him again. Don't know how to add to his rating, if I did I would have. Great seller!
thanks for the props.

the way you add ratings is by clicking the itrader icon that has a number on it. then you'll see a "leave feedback" button.

took me a while to figure it out too.

bump to the top.

just a fyi, ibm/lenovos are considered 1 of the most durable laptops out there. i've dealt w sonys, dells, and hp and i say these and toshibas are the only ones to get. as i mentioned all the components are top end so just don't look at the speed and hard drive size but be aware the actually parts are top notch too.
