Has anyone ever tried this stuff.

I don't usually drink but someone gave us a bottle of ICE Wine.. Only made certian time of the year from what I was told.

So i decided I am having dinner with wife at home and not driving anywhere.

Holy crap 2 glasses with dinner and I was out!. :o

I toured a few winerys near Niagra Falls in February a couple of years ago. It was right around the time of year for the Ice wine harvest. Basically, they harvest the grapes at night in the dead of winter and the resulting subzero temps help maintain the sugar content, or something like that.

I'm not much of a fan of sweet wine, so I can't really handle more than a few sips of that stuff. Its sweeter than kool-aid. Glad you enjoyed it to its fullest!

Nice LINC! Always loved them. Loved the suicide doors. The converts are sp pretty.

Pretty sure the fermenting process is similar to ice beer. The results are higher alky content, as you found out.
